About Us

This is our story

The Napery combines Pacific Linen's commercial laundry services and linen hire with it's in-house express laundering, steaming and sanitizing services, the combination of all these plus 20 years’ experience, eco-friendly laundering processes and the latest technology in laundry plant equipment provides all your household and commercial laundry needs. The Napery is also a dry-cleaning and shoe repair agent, provides in-house mending services and has a great selection of yarns & haberdashery items.

Can I get my down duvet inners or sleeping bags cleaned with you?

Yes, Pacific Linen is our sister company and their Cromwell based commercial laundry is equipped to achieve environmentally friendly fluffy results!

Can I hire bed linen for accommodation?

Yes we provide linen not only for wedding and events but also sheets & towels for either one-off hire or on-going rental services.

Can you do waterproofing?

We can help garments with showerproofing by applying 100% natural bees wax, which also helps revive the colours and condition of he fabric.

Can you launder my animal blankets?

Yes we can, just give the blankets a good shake and place into a secure bag before bringing to us.

Can you process Leather Jackets?

Yes, our steam/refresh equipment does a fantastic job of cleaning the jacket liner without adding chemicals to the leather. We then refurbish the leather using a New Zealand made, non toxic bio-degradable conditioner

Can you repair knitwear garments?

Absolutely, our large range of retail yarns means we are able to match & darn your favorite sweater, hat, gloves or socks.

Do you clean fur coats?

Yes! We put fur coats through our steam and refresh process and end it with a gentle brushing for a lovely finish

Do you clean shoes?

Yes, The Napery's shoe valet services includes sneaker clean, leather polish, vinyl refurbish, sanitizing and a good old sprinkle of 'grannies recipe'.

Do you offer an alterations service?

In-house we can provide mending, attach patches and other types of minor repairs. For more specialized work, we can recommend local alteration businesses.

Do you offer express service on Dry-cleaning?

For most Dry-clean only items we are able to offer an express steam/refresh service. So if you are attending a wedding or event and last minute you realized that your suit or dress needs a smarten-up we can do this for you within hours if needed.

Do you offer personal bag wash services?

Yes we do, we have several price range options. Charged per kg for sorting of colours or delicates, you can also add individual garment pressing too.
